Might do, and it’s a logical suggestion I suppose. I just wonder if a grill, even preheated on max, will get up to the kind of temperature which will cook a naan quickly to avoid drying it too much. I shouldn’t knock it until I’ve tried it though, and it might be the only option short of a blowtorch.
Lay a flat cast iron grill plate / griddle pan on the hob and turn it up full, that might work
