Thanks for the links Livo! They look like really nice dishes. I do like spinach so Palak Paneer sounds good too.

Another splendid feast, Rob! Looking very delicious!
Thanks Naga, 3 of my guests were visiting from Brazil so they had never had anything quite like it.

Really authentic looking Indian food, did you have a favourite curry?

Thanks CC. It's hard to say which curry is my favourite but among the list are Vindaloo, Dhansak, Madras and Pathia, it's nice that I don't have to call the local takeaway so often now!  ;D

Excellent as always, Rob.......and Happy New Year!

Cheers Garp! Here's to another year of curries!

Are there any recipes using paneer you guys would recommend?

Thanks

Rob

The most important part about using paneer in any BIR curry is that a Chef will precook the Paneer.
They deep fry the cubed cheese until lightly golden brown.

If they dont use it straight  away in a curry, they store it submerged  in a bowl of cold water,
so its on hand and ready to go.

Use it in any BIR curry, except fish or seafood.
Its also used in some good starters.
cheers Chewy
