There is only one recipe (as far as I can see) on this forum for sambar, and that is Vindaloo-crazy's.  Has anyone tried it ?  I asked because I had a masala dosa this evening, and as I was not sharing it (for the first time), I had all the sambar to myself.  And I decided that I actually prefer plain dosa with sambar to masala dosa, which came as a complete surprise to me.
