Hi Graeme/George,i am popping in and out of both forums, which i think are both very good, my goal is to learn as much as i can,as far as i am concerned there is room for other forums, the more the better.

Hi all  ;) I agree with Terry, all knowledge is a good thing. I too have had an eye on this site but not joined, yet. I notice a few members from this site have joined another site but have not turned their back on this forum. We are all after the same thing and as with anything on the web you don't just find a site and stick with it. Thats why its called browsing. cr0 has given me a lot since I joined, and I am grateful. Long may it reign.

I agree with both Terry & Mikes' comments - I don't think that Andy has duped anyone but rather just provided forums for people to get involved in . I certainly don't think that he claims to know the secrets of all cuisines . Free enterprise and choice should be a good thing . :) Both sites provide a unique service . I am told that Andy is not in a position to make any comments as he has been banned .

It's probably because the weather has improved slightly and everyone is outside rather than sweating away making curry or on their computers.  This forum has always had lulls in activity,  all it will take is another first hand account or two and then it will pick up again.

I am told that Andy is not in a position to make any comments as he has been banned .

Thats because of the way he went about it I'm afraid, if I was to start up a new food based forum and went to the BBC food forums to start poaching for members and spamming my site I would be banned and my posts blocked....  Just ask Andy he knows all about spamming on the BBC food boards   ;)

As soon as the sun pops out, no one plays curry chef anymore  :'(

I have a day off so i am going to try Mutleys Base Sauce again, but add a few more things in.  I will post up some pics.
