10 Year curry house experience - Base gravy / sauce
« on: May 28, 2007, 02:23 PM »
Heres My attempt
I nearly burnt my blender out making this one & its still not totally smooth!
the only differences from Andys original was different bullion, swapped a red chilly for a green & a red pepper for yellow (as thats all i had)
Oh yes My butter ghee smelt a bit off so I used oil

Hi Hotring,

Looks good, how do you rate this sauce compared to others you have tried?

I would have to say this IMO is the best to date, I have as yet to try one of Andys recipes with this gravy due to the fact I need to get down my Asian grosser, My usual dishes seem closer to the taste I`m after with this gravey, Very impressed
