Lime Pickle
« on: December 07, 2007, 10:25 AM »
I've searched about but only recipes I've found appear to look more like a chunky jam sort of thing.
I'm thinking of something closer to a dry salsa type pickle (hopefully this is making sense!)
Quite tangy and hot.
If anyones been to britannia spice in edinburgh you'll know what I mean hopefully!
Anyone have a recipe? (or a clue what I'm on about!  ;D )

I know exactly what you're on about. I don't think restaurants make it, I think they just buy it in. I have a couple of varieties at home and prefer the Patkaks one, available in most large supermarkets in the Asian foods and sauces bit. I hope this helps, perhaps you're already aware of this and just want to make it fresh, in which case I apologise.  ;D
