It was my 50th birthday just after Christmas and I got my wife to buy me one of these:

Lol,

It was bought from Amazon for 210 quid  :o

It might seem OTT but I'm going to start making 6 or 9 litre base batches. I find I have to make bases too frequently when I make a 3 litre one so it should save me cooking time.

Also I used to make so much mess transferring the base sauces to an upright blender then back to another pot. The final straw was when the plastic jug on my upright blender cracked under the heat of my last base blend.

Yes I know I'm crazy!

P.S. I hope it comes with a free paint mixer attachment, for those odd moments when you're relaxing from making curries by re-painting the house !
