Hi DalPuri,

Thought you might like these also. Quite fond of these to be honest.

     Regards, Jack.

Hi DalPuri,

Thanks for that Jack.  ;) I like to hear regional accents coming through into the more poppy songs rather than only hearing them in straight folk.
Jools' show has a great mix of artists and usually very well chosen songs. There's been so many discoveries for me from genres i would never have stumbled upon if it wasn't for "Later with. ."  8)

I missed seeing The Staves on the show though, and only saw them the other night after waking up to the loop on BBC2 at 3am :P
You just cant beat family harmonies! and these girls have a really sweet tone.

Now this girl is definitely Marmite  and i love her.   ;D

 Hi DalPuri,

Thanks for the Joanna Newsom clip, listening to her up as I type, excellent rainy Sunday afternoon in front of the coal fire music!

Right then, not that this is turning into a competition..... Have you heard this guy?

 Thanks again, Jack.

Nick Drake

Have you heard this guy?

No, I dont think so, but its a name that rings a bell with "the beat" (german show)  :-\
Quite a few forgotten/obscure names appeared on those german 60's and 70's music shows, and even further back to the 30's. We have a lot to be thankful for to the germans when it comes to archived music footage.  ;)

 Nice song though, cheers.  ;)
