Your Favourite Food Websites and Forums?
« on: April 23, 2011, 01:16 PM »
With the recent Greek recipes sparking my interest, it has dawned on me that i'm probably missing out on a world of different cuisines that I may like to try.

In the past, I have always relied on BBC Food and UKTV Food for recipes and variety, both of which have delivered.

I realise though that there are probably much better websites and/or forums that I would do well to look at.

Do any of you use alternative sites and forums? If so can you recommend them please.

One ive mentions before but which bears repeating is www.irishbeef.co.uk. Only a limited number of recipes (off of which feature beef strangely!) but all seem to be good ones.  This is in contrast to supermarket websites and recipe cards which seem to be designed only to maximise the number and value of the ingredients required and to dumb down the technique to make them seem easy to make, even at the expense of the end result.
