Hi loveitspicy,

It's a difficult on to answer.  There are many good bases on here but the Taz base has had some good reviews of late.

As for top ten dishes/recipes, this is the tricky one.  As you are probably already aware, a curry such as a Madras can vary from region to region, so whats good for you may not be what I'm used to and vice versa.

If you look at Cory Anders recipes, they are very comprehensive and well written.  All his dishes seem to get good reviews, from me included, so I don't think you'll go far wrong with any of them mate.  Just be sure to use ALL of his components, if you are going to offer a review, as members can get a little miffed if they receive a bad review but the recipe has not been followed to the letter.

Good luck mate, and curry on ;D

Ray :)

I personally think CA's recipes are the perfect starting points for people new to the site, purely for the fact that they are clearly documented and produce good results.

CA's Madras: http://www.curry-recipes.co.uk/curry/index.php?topic=3830.0
