bombay mix
« on: March 10, 2006, 08:17 AM »
Hi all,

I'm new to this board after looking for decent restaurant recipes all over the place.  Living in the South of France means that it is hard to get a decent curry in the restaurants and this coupled with 5yrs in Italy where decent curry just didn't exist has lead me on the search for a good way of making my own.  I'm certainly looking forward to trying out the various recipes on the site!

One thing I would love to get is decent bombay mix.  It just doesn't seem to exist over here and My wife and I get fed up having to wait for someone to bring it back from the UK.

So, does anyone know where I would be able to order one of the sev machines to make the gram flour noodles that go into bombay mix.  I have searched the internet to no avail.  I know that when we lived in Newcastle the local asian shops sold them but of course there was no reason to buy one with all the shops selling bags of it.

Thanks,

Richard

Thanks,

If nobody else can help with a sev press then I'll try to get a potato ricer.

Richard
