Hi UF
Sorry, haven't got a photo as I'm not using that kitchen at the moment. :'(

The Gastronorm  spice deck may not be good for you, as they are a bit industrial and even
the smallest ones 1/9 - half ltr, take some filling with spices.
Here's a link to a pic of Mick CBM spice deck, to get the idea

I'm updating my dad's kitchen at the moment and
I've just bought a glass shelf (bathroom style) which is very neat with stylish fixings and I'll just use ramekins for the spices
I'll post a pic of that one when it's up  ;)
cheers Chewy

Anybody got any ideas of how i could use this space, at the right hand side 2' 4" part will be a fridge so its really the left hand side. Got a few ideas myself but somebody might have better ones.
Cheers.
Must apologies for the badly drawn picture haven't really got much time at the moment might post some pictures of what i have done if anybody is interested.

Without seeing the whole picture it's hard to imagine.... stainless steel surround and sinking in a deep fat fryer?

Why not change that fridge freezer into 2 separate built in units underneath a worktop and have a nice prep area above? A few nice down lighters, the food directly underneath you and a lovely prep area above? :)

You'd probably even get a nice storage cupboard or 2 above, with built in down lighters to keep all your spices in ready for that prep area!! :)

That partition wall running down the side of the fridge freezer does not look like a supporting wall, so why not knock it down as far as the back of the existing fridge freezer, and then go with the above?

Nothing like a bit of DIY when it's WIP  ;).  Will be well worth it in the end although it may just disrupt the curry cooking for a bit unless the weather turns for the better and you can do it outside  ::).
