Ingredients:

- Garlic/Ginger Paste (http://www.curry-recipes.co.uk/curry/index.php?topic=3915.msg35417;topicseen#msg35417)
- Tomato Puree
- Methi
- touch of green chili paste (http://www.curry-recipes.co.uk/curry/index.php?topic=3914.msg35416;topicseen#msg35416)
- 1/2 chefs spoon of South Indian Garlic Sauce (http://www.curry-recipes.co.uk/curry/index.php?topic=3908.msg35388;topicseen#msg35388)
- touch of mixed pickle
- Bunjarra (http://www.curry-recipes.co.uk/curry/index.php?topic=3921.msg35423;topicseen#msg35423)
- One chefs spoon of masala sauce (http://www.curry-recipes.co.uk/curry/index.php?topic=3926.msg35428;topicseen#msg35428)
- small diced onions and peppers
- Coriander and spring onions
- when ready touch of coconut cream
- touch of tandoori paste (Pataks)

As you can see we will need to experiment to get the individual amounts right here as this is how it is written in the handbook. The original posts give the method and amounts so it should be easy to knock this up. good luck, I feel better now that this is off my chest. PP

Cheers JerryM, and I suppose myself and probably many others who may be intersted in having a go with these recipes are looking forward to your input and to see whether you can help in getting them proportioned down to practical quantities. PP

Made this dish tonight i am afraid it tasted like nothing i have ever tasted indian wise

The masala sauce it called for is dreadful
so anyway i binned it

had friends around so i had to improvise , i had a large batch of Ca's chicken tikka and a fresh batch laso of CA's base

so i fried some garlic / ginger paste added 4 ladles of base plus 2 ladles of panpots south indian garlic sauce

turned out really really nice comments were realy pleasing

It was a bit risky making something totally new, tried and untested, when you had guests, wasn't it BC?  :o

You must enjoy living on the edge!  :P

Dont want you to get big headed CA but your base is that nice you can almost serve it on its own so i had no worries there lol

and panpots south indian garlic sauce tastes very noce albeit a bit hot on its own

so why not ...........

anyway it would have been rice egg and paratha otherwise

i finally got to trying out this recipe. it did not work for me - meaning there are other recipes in this category that would suit my taste buds better. i also don't know what the dish should taste like and will look out for it in restaurants.

one ingredient i did not have is mixed pickle - which is on my shopping list. once i've tasted what the pickle is like i may have to revisit the dish depending on how much impact it's likely to have given i left it out of my effort at the dish.

i may have used too much south indian sauce too.

i just could not see a benefit of working on the recipe having a greater preference for other dishes. i did not even take a pic.

recipe:
oil 1 chef
pre fried sliced onion/pepper 1 chef
base 1 chef
tom puree 1 tsp
methi 1 tsp
green chilli paste 1 tsp
bunjarra 1 tbsp
south indian sauce 1 chef
red Marsala 1 chef
fresh coriander 1 tbsp
coconut flour 2 tbsp
tandoori paste 1 tsp
